This Kenda Loadstar K371 Bias Trailer Tire is built and tested to exceed Department of Transportation standards, so it’s ready for consistent duty. With a Load Range B rating and a maximum load of 590 lbs at 60 psi, it delivers reliable strength for smaller trailers that still see real miles. The 4-ply construction keeps the casing tough without adding unnecessary weight or stiffness.
The bias design uses thick nylon cords positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle, alternating in a crisscross pattern. That makes the sidewalls more rigid while letting the whole tire flex together over bumps and ruts. The result is a stable, controlled ride that holds steady when you’re rolling across driveways, gravel, or rough terrain.
Even though it’s small in diameter at 16.1", this tire holds its own on the open road. Every 4.80/4.00-8 Kenda bias tire in this series carries a 65-mph speed rating, so you can run highway speeds without worry about heat buildup or early wear when properly inflated to max pressure.
Kenda backs this tire with a 5-year limited warranty plus a 1-year worry-free guarantee that covers replacement if it’s damaged in the first year. That kind of backing adds peace of mind when you’re depending on your gear to keep rolling season after season.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Working great! Tires holding-up just fine and we use that cart daily for hauling material on the farm.

It's common for bias ply trailer tires to be shipped in that manner. A good, high volume tire shop should have no problem getting them mounted.

They sat all winter in the shop building and were still holding the correct pressure this spring. The tires that came on this trailer had to be aired up every time I used them.
